These ancient petroglyphs, discovered by Jock Doubleday on November 12, 2015 in Waterval Boven, South Africa, have the feeling of a map.

Do these carvings depict star relationships in the night sky? Do they depict structures so small that we have only recently been able to begin to see some of them with the help of the Atomic Force Microscope?
