Megastructure: The Fojnica Riverbed Winding through the Bosnian Pyramid Complex Is an Ancient Artificial Megalithic Structure

“It’s an astonishing feat of engineering, all these structures tied together at the base through the riverbed so there’s no way for the water in the river to get under the structures. Because the water is flowing over the megastructure that is the Complex. And all these structures are tied together. So the Pyramid of the Moon — it’s not like they built it on the earth and then went over here and built Osijela Hill. No. They tied everything. Everything’s built. Everything’s tied together. Impossible, except maybe over millions of years, to erode this.” – Jock Doubleday

The Fojnica River winds meanderingly through the Bosnian Pyramid Complex, a prehistoric complex of pyramids, tumuli, tunnels, and other ancient structures in and near Visoko, Bosnia.

Please note the use of the word archaeological instead of geological. The Fojnica River’s riverbed was created in ancient times and has no geological features in the normal sense of the word, although the riverbed is composed of materials that normally compose natural geological features.

A Detailed Chronology: Six Videographic Explorations

A detailed chronology of archaeological explorations of the Fojnica River riverbed system — a six-part hyperlinked video series, with key quotes, links to articles, and links to accompanying photo folders — is below.

Part 1 of the six-part “Built Riverbed System” video series:
“Built by the Ancients: Fojnica River in the Bosnian Pyramid Complex, August 5, 2015″

On August 5, 2015, the first exploration was made of the riverbed of the Fojnica River, which winds meanderingly through the Bosnian Pyramid Complex in Visoko, Bosnia.

What was discovered: Ancient artificial structural baked adhered clay layers, and some ancient baked concrete, forming riverbanks and the riverbed of the Fojnica River.

The ancients built a river.

More precisely, the ancients built a riverbed to contain water that for thousands or millions of years would run placidly (non-erosively) past their pyramids and tumuli and tunnel entrances, in what scientists today call the Bosnian Pyramid Complex or the Bosnian Valley of the Pyramids.

Part 2 of the six-part “Built Riverbed System” video series:
“Built by the Ancients: The Fojnica River – The Adventure Continues, August 8, 2015″

It makes sense that the ancients would not sit their structures on top of the earth but would tie them together structurally across valleys and riverbeds. It makes sense that the ancients intentionally built a riverbed to direct the course and speed of water through their pyramid and tunnel complex.

1. Artificially baked and hardened textured claystone plates of varying thicknesses compose the Fojnica River riverbed. (Photos by Jock Doubleday, August 8, 2015.)

Above: Archaeological Park Foundation volunteer Shawn Rateau inspects one of millions of ancient artificially created textured claystone plates, adhered to similar plates below and above, create both the shape and the flow of the Fojnica River in Visoko, Bosnia.

Above: Thick raised claystone plates – present on the outside of the river bend but absent on the inside of the river bend.

2. Artificially baked and hardened textured claystone plates of varying thicknesses compose the Fojnica River riverbanks, in conjunction with alternating softer clay layers.

Above: Ancient artificially created textured claystone blocks, adhered to softer clay and/or hardened claystone plates below and above, create both the shape and the flow of the Fojnica River in Visoko, Bosnia. Here you can see that some of the softer clay layers have been eroded (below the hardened claystone blocks) by thousands of years of river water flow and especially by high-water flooding.

3. Riverbed adhered and inclined claystone layers create a braking system for water flow.

Above: Very steep angle against the flow of the river creates what Archaeological Park volunteer Christoffer Kindmark calls a “braking system.”

Above: Extremely thick baked claystone plate at a point of high flow rate (steep river water descent) on the Fojnica River in the Bosnian Pyramid Complex.

4. Riverbed adhered and inclined claystone layers are inclined at different angles to create differential braking of water flow at different points along the river.

5. Riverbed adhered and inclined claystone layers are angled at different angles (between parallel and perpendicular) to the flow of the river to create differential shaping and braking of the water flow.

Above: Close-to-parallel-angled clay layers, in comparison to the flow of the river. Archaeological Park Foundation volunteer Christoffer Kindmark is on the right.

Above: Artificial baked clay layers at a close-to-45-degree-angle, in comparison to the direction of the flow of the river.

Above: Close-to-perpendicular-angled clay layers, in comparison to the direction of the flow of the river.

Above: Virtually perpendicular-angled clay layers, in comparison to the direction of the flow of the river.

6. Most riverbed and riverbank claystone plates were artificially textured — gouged and sculpted — on their top surfaces, to one degree or another, possibly for the purposes of a) increasing water turbulence to create energetic vortexes and health-giving negative ions, b) braking water flow, and c) increasing earth or cosmic energy conductivity (flow).

Above: Artificial texturing (not natural rippling) of baked claystone structural riverbed layer.

Above: Artificial texturing (not natural rippling) of baked claystone structural riverbed layer.

7. Claystone plates are most prevalent, and most raised, on the outside of river bends, thus serving

a) to more effectively brake the river’s strongest flow and
b) to channel the river’s flow toward the inside of the bend, thus
c) more effectively preventing erosion to the riverbank on the outside of the river channel, thus
d) preventing water flow from eroding pyramids and other ancient built structures at the base.

8. The thickness of adhered structural claystone plates increases at points on the river where flow rate is higher (faster). “Step-downs” have the thickest plates.

Key conclusions from the August 8, 2015 archaeological exploration:

An intelligent race or races in the distant past built a riverbed:

1) as a structurally foundational base for gargantuan artificial structures lining the Fojnica River in the Visoko, Bosnia area 2) to contain a river that would run in a fully controlled fashion past meticulously, indeed artistically, constructed pyramids, hills, and tumuli in the Bosnian Pyramid Complex.

Part 3 of the six-part “Built Riverbed System” video series:
“Who Built the Upper Fojnica River in the Bosnian Pyramid Megacomplex?”

On September 17, 2015, I took a taxi several kilometers west of the Bosnian Pyramid Complex. I was dropped off at Pločari Polje, and I walked back down the Fojnica River for several kilometers.

It was late summer, so the water level was very low. Ancient structures — artificial concrete and clay-and-claystone hills and artificial pyramid-like structures — line both sides of the Fojnica river from Visoko to Kiseljak. The Fojnica riverbed is therefore a critical component of the structures themselves, for without a hard artificial riverbed, the structures on either side would eventually be undermined by water erosion.

This video is part of a six-part series showing that the Fojnica River’s riverbed was built by an ancient civilization, tens of thousands of years ago, or longer ago, to tie together at the base the pyramids and other structures in the Bosnian Pyramid Complex (which by the way I think should be renamed the Bosnian Pyramid Megacomplex, due to the extent of the artificial structures around the originally named complex, the heart of which is in Visoko, Bosnia.)

“These nearly vertical clay layers have no sign of erosion on them. They’ve not been worn smooth by the [river’s] water. That’s how strong these clay layers are. They’re still sharp. . . .

“And we can see sectioning of the layers. . . . Here’s a section line, right here. And you can see the real smooth quality of this. And if this was sedimentary, there would be no way to have these continual smooth — in this case vertical — sectioning lines [cutting through the layers at a near-90-degree angle]. It wouldn’t happen in nature.

“You’ve got Robert Schoch telling us that the Yonaguni Monument is . . . ‘natural or primarily natural’ . . . that the sandstone breaks out naturally to form these vertical sides. But in fact we know from Geology 101 that sedimzentary layers don’t break out vertically, they break out only horizontally.

“So there’s no way that he could be correct that the sedimentary layers of the Yonaguni Monument are breaking out naturally. That’s just some kind of witchcraft talk. That’s sorcery. And we don’t appreciate it, the people who actually care about science and care about our world: our natural world and our artificial world — and those two meet in mysterious ways.” – Jock Doubleday, “Who Built the Riverbed of the Dragaca River, Main Tributary to the Fojnica River in the Bosnian Pyramid Megacomplex? “It’s a . . . strong structural riverbed that then becomes the structures on either side. So, to the west, we have the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of Love. To the east we have Osijela Hill. So this riverbed literally becomes the structures. The structures are tied together across the river for structural strength to last the ages. So the water does not get in and erode — cannot get under — their structures, because this is part of the structure.” – Jock Doubleday, “The Riverbed of the Fojnica River System: The Largest Artificial Megalithic Structure in the World, August 28, 2017”

A Schoching Proclamation

A riverbed built in ancient times in and near Visoko, Bosnia? But didn’t geology expert Robert Schoch say there’s nothing there? No prehistoric pyramids, no prehistoric tunnels, no built river, nothing?
– Jock Doubleday

For a minimum of seven years, and possibly for as long as ten years, Yale geologist Robert Schoch has had the following statement on his official web site:

I maintain my conviction that there are NO pyramids
at Visoko, Bosnia
. Rather, all the so-called pyramids are
the result of natural geological processes and phenomena
that are currently being “excavated” (i.e., modified) to
look like pyramids.”
– Robert Milton Schoch

Let’s look closely at geologist Robert Schoch’s words:

I maintain my conviction that there are
NO pyramids

The word “conviction” means belief. Persons honoring and practicing the scientific method may well wonder why a scientist is espousing a belief instead of documenting scientific evidence that leads toward scientific conclusions.

The Bosnia River: Another Claystone Structure Built in Ancient Times

The riverbed of the neighboring Bosnia River, or “Bosna Rijeka,” a river that meets the Fojnica River in the heart of the Bosnian Pyramid Complex, is also an artificial structure.

The riverbed of the Bosnia River was built by the ancients in the same way that they built the Fojnica River: using baked adhered clay layers. But these layers — instead of being inclined against the flow of the river (leaning toward the flowing water like a turbulence-creating, and thereforefore negative-ions generating, machine) — the Bosnia River’s baked adhered clay layers are inclined with the flow the river.

As Hrvoje Zujić writes in his paper about pyramids as ionizers (“Interpretation of Symbols on Megalith K-1), pyramid complexes with tunnel systems use negative ions generated from river sources.

The Fojnica River and Bosnia River are a negative ions-generating machines (with no moving parts, to last the ages). The only thing that moves is the water flowing across hard baked clay layers.

How do we know that the Bosnia riverbed was constructed by an ancient advanced civilization? Because its structure of repeating, angled baked adhered clay layers is the same as that of the Fojnica riverbed, whose water flows through the Bosnian Pyramid Complex, and for which we have clear and voluminous evidence that it was built (see article, photos, and videos below).

The water contained in the Bosnia and Fojnica rivers, which meet in the village of Visoko just north and east of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, flows over baked adhered clay layers that direct the water around bends in the river to prevent erosion of the sides of the river, which take the brunt of the water flow’s force as it moves sinuously back and forth. In addition, riverbank sections that take the most force were strongly built up by the ancients. This was first noticed by Archaeological Park volunteer Shawn Rateau in August of 2015.

The Bosnia River Flows North: Why Is Its Direction Interesting?

Did you know that only a handful of rivers in the world flow north? It’s true.

And the Bosnia River, which meets the Fojnica River in the heart of Visoko, Bosnia, is one of those few northward-flowing rivers.

Below: 2 maps of the Bosnia River flowing north.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Why did the ancients create a northward flowing river in the Bosnia River, when most rivers on Earth flow generally south? (As you can see, the Fojnica flows generally east. It begins to flow north at the southern edge of the Bosnian Pyramid Complex.)

CONCLUSION

The riverbed of the Bosnian Pyramid Complex’s Fojnica River is the wet mega-elephant in the dusty Institutional Archaeology room.

In the Bosnian Pyramid Complex, we find structures tied together across the Fojnica riverbed so that erosive water will not get under them and erode them over time. Instead, water flows over a megastructure. The engineering and the scale of the ancients’ building in Visoko, Bosnia is astonishing.

The riverbeds of both the Fojnica River and the Bosnia River were built, partially or in their entirety, in ancient times.

The two riverbeds that meet in the heart of what I call the Bosnian Pyramid Megacomplex comprise the largest documented artificial megalithic structure in the world — “largest” even if the gargantuan artificial structures (pyramids and built hills) on either side of the riverbeds are not included.

If these structures are included, then the structures’ outer boundaries (the ending points of their artificial material) must be discovered to make a total size measurement of the dual-river-multi-structure system. To date, no end to the ancients’ artificial material has been documented anywhere along the outer edges of the artificial structures lining the Fojnica or Bosnia rivers.

Encouragements

The exploration of this gargantuan river system is just beginning. The limits of the super-gargantuan ancient built river system have yet to be discovered. Are the rivers built from their very beginnings? How far does riverbed construction extend downstream in the Bosnia River?

Will you be the one to discover the limits of the riverbed that winds like a twisting cipher through the Bosnian Pyramid Megacomplex? Where does the mega-building of the ancients end and nature begin?

Video: “This is an example of ancient terraforming: the ancients’ step-down. They used the step-down all over the pyramid complex here in Visoko. You can see the beauty of it. It’s really regular. Its function is unknown. We don’t know why they’re doing step-downs all over Bosnia, not just in the pyramid complex. . . . So the whole pyramid [the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun] has these insistent horizontal features. And we can only surmise that this kind of geological engineering on the part of the ancients was part of an energy machine facilitation . . . It was helping the pyramid be what it wants to be, which is an energy mitigator, an energy amplifier, and, as Dr. Semir Osmanagić, discoverer of the Bosnian Pyramids, said, “a perpetual motion machine.” . . . I think what he meant by that was that this pyramid and others here in the complex, and others in the world — and he estimates that there are 100,000+ pyramids around the world, which is amazing, an amazing number: 100,000+ . . . okay, wow . . . then this is Pyramid Earth, right? — that these pyramids always have energy moving through. So the motion is the energy. So, unlike our “perpetual motion” machines which have moving parts, moving mechanical parts, these earthen, crystalline, stone, megalithic, lithic monuments built in ancient times, far, far in advance of our (what we call an advanced) civilization, let the energy move for various functions. And the latest idea is that these pyramids are part of a Cosmic Internet and that we can communicate through some of these structures, and do communicate, with other planets in other parts of the solar system, and can communicate with planets in other parts of the galaxy, using scalar wave technology that the ancients tapped into.”

Anyone can do science. And you have to look with your eyes. And then you do your best to figure things out. That’s all. Just because you have a degree from a prestigious university doesn’t mean you’re right. Because it just so happens that people with degrees from prestigious universities disagree about things all the time. So, the question is, ‘What do you see with your eyes? What’s your best theory?’ And then you put that out there to the scientific audience — which is to say, to the global mind, since we’re all scientists — and then we see whose theory is the theory that does the best in the opinion of the global mind.”

It’s an astonishing feat of engineering, all these structures tied together at the base through the riverbed so there’s no way for the water in the river to get under the structures. Because the water’s flowing over the megastructure that is the complex. And all these structures are tied together. So the Pyramid of the Moon — it’s not like they built it on the earth and then went over here and built Osijela Hill. No. They tied everything. Everything’s built. Everything’s tied together. Concrete on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun

How hard is the concrete on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun? Watch a huge mechanical digger (the biggest in Bosnia) fail to get through it. This is the concrete that Graham Hancock calls natural “pudding stone.”
Video:Mechanical Excavation of Super-Dense Ancient Concrete on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun”

“Another factor in the concrete durability is the water absorption [rate]. The water absorption rate of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun concrete is 1.1%, and the lower the water absorption rate, the better. The best water absorption rate of modern-day concrete is 3% . . . Therefore, the concrete on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun is almost three times less likely to absorb water as the best concrete that we make in modern day. . . . The water doesn’t get in as much in the winter. . . . And therefore it doesn’t freeze inside the concrete in the winter, and therefore it doesn’t expand and break the concrete. So water is not a problem in general for the ancients’ concrete. This is concrete that Robert Schoch calls natural. This is concrete that Graham Hancock calls natural. This is concrete that Wikipedia calls natural. This is concrete that Zahi Hawass calls natural.”

Was Graham Hancock right to call concrete slabs on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun natural “pudding stones”? Let’s see what science has to say.

Video: Super-durable concrete on the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun – an explanation of megapascals”Video: Graham Hancock: “There are many hills that look like pyramids. . . . So just the fact that it looks like a pyramid doesn’t mean we have to automatically accept that it is a pyramid. . . . Nature also makes concretes. The Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun concretes are very like these pudding stones that we see in different natural formations all around the world. . . . There are some interesting blocks on the top of the Vratnica Tumulus. They do certainly at first sight look quite man-made. But this ripple pattern in the top of them is quite typically what you get in a sedimentary stone that forms at the bottom of a lake, and I think it’s unlikely that these are man-made blocks. . . .
“Much more interesting at the site are the tunnels. Many people are under the impression that these tunnels are actually in the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. But that is not the case. They are about 2 to 3 kilometers away from the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun. And they’re called the Ravne tunnels. And they are very intriguing. I don’t know what they are. They don’t seem very high tech, to me. But I do think that they are ancient. And they are being cleared out by Sam and his team. And they’ve found some very interesting artifacts inside them, which include this [single rock art] painting, and, if genuine, it certainly does add a new chapter to the history of Upper Paleolithic art.
“But I don’t think it gives us a lost civilization. . . . I feel that much further work needs to be done in Bosnia. One of the problems is that Sam and his team have been stopped — this is a recurrent problem in the world of alternative archaeology — they’ve been stopped from doing proper excavations in the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun, and that’s really what’s needed, is a thorough, detailed excavation of the site, so that these questions marks can be either put to rest or confirmed.
“If [the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun] is a man-made pyramid, then it absolutely rewrites history, and I think it’s worth investigating further rather than simply writing it off. I can only give you my honest opinion of it so far, to the extent that I have seen it.”

Video: Dr. Sara Acconci: “The scientific community is fighting against this project. . . . So just to summarize . . . they told me, ‘You will never be able to find a job as an archaeologist [if you work on the Bosnian pyramids project].’ . . . I started as a volunteer [in the summer of 2010]. . . . When I came back to Italy, my professor asked me, ‘What did you do this summer?’ And I said, “I was excavating the biggest and oldest pyramid in the world.’ And she told me, ‘It’s better if you will not speak about it, because you will never obtain your second graduation.’ . . . So I asked them why. And they told me, ‘Because we should [have to] rewrite history, and we should [have to] admit that we are not the most advanced civilization ever.’ . . . They were pretty clear. So I just decided to play their game. And when I obtained my second graduation, I told everybody, ‘Thank you so much, because with this piece of paper, I can go in Bosnia and excavate the biggest pyramid in the world.'”

More about the Bosnian Pyramid Complex

The archaeological orthodoxy’s 11-year attempt, and failure, to stop scientific inquiry into the Bosnian Pyramid Complex is detailed in the following article. “The Mysterious Anti-Scientific Agenda of Robert Schoch – Part 1: The Bosnian Pyramid Complex”

“What is a scientist? A good scientist, a real scientist, is one who bypasses cultural indoctrination, the indoctrination of the language that we use — which has its own pitfalls, its own traps — and the indoctrination of the universities, which tell us how to think. Sometimes the universities are correct. Sometimes they’re not. If they’re not, then the student, when he or she goes out into the world, needs to bypass that indoctrination. And so we have, in the sciences, a massive amount of incorrect information being taught as truth. Big problem. Then the students go out, and they have difficulty . . . overcoming that indoctrination, filtering it out, to see what they’re really looking at. Because you can look at this [excavation of the Bosnian Pyramid of the Sun], and if you’re a graduate of a school of archaeology, you’ll see sedimentary layers.” – Jock Doubleday
