“Science Is a Harsh Mistress”

Bestselling Science-fiction author Robert A. Heinlein was a proponent of science.
The word “science” is in pink, in this article, because Heinlein tells us in his book title that the moon is a harsh mistress, not a harsh master. (Yes, color–coding words in articles is a thing, now.)
Like successful contemporaneous science-fiction authors Arthur C. Clarke and Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein wrote stories based in worlds that are scientifically possible.
Why did he do this? We can only guess at his motives. Let’s do that now.
We can suppose (hypothesize) that Heinlein wrote science-based (reason-based, research-based) science-fiction stories and novels because he wanted to:
1) increase his stories’ believability (why force readers to go through the process of suspending disbelief when you can simply allow them, through the clear, satisfying logic of science, to believe?);
2) teach his readers about the real (or at least the theoretically possible) universe; and
3) tout the superiority of a life lived according to the calm discernment, cool logic, and studious, laborious, merciless, pitiless reason of science.
Why Is the Moon a Harsh Mistress?
Question: Why is that luminous pebble in the sky, Earth’s meandering moon — so soft, so sensuous, so compelling, so alluring (dare we say romantic?) — a harsh mistress in Heinlein’s Hugo Award-winning tale?
The main character of The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress, Mannie, aka Manuel Garcia O’Kelly-Davis.
Answer: In Heinlein’s mega-popular novel, the moon is a place of 1) scientifically predicted, 2) scientifically verifiable (though not, at that time, all scientifically verified), infelicitous environmental realities that human beings, or any Earth-based life-form, attempting to inhabit that planetary body would have to deal with.
The Moon’s Harsh Scientific Realities
Question: What, then, are the moon’s scientific realities?
The moon – a forbidding planetoid, according to science. According to poets, the moon is just a big ball of love. Go there, and find out!
Answer: The moon’s scientific realities are the following: Scientifically verifiable extremes of 1) pressure, 2) temperature, 3) luminosity, 4) radiation, 5) atmosphere, 6) hydration, and 7) climate.
Is All Science True?
Question: Is every fact offered about the moon in Heinlein’s novel, The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress, true?
Answer: Science is not concerned with truth, per se, although it is convenient to speak of extremely well-documented theories as true.
Science is concerned with 1) evidence, 2) the testing of evidence, and 3) an open conversation among persons offering and testing that evidence.
Of course, the idea of evidence presupposes the following: a) a theory, b) a brain to think up that theory, and c) an organism to house that brain; and we could go farther back, to d) a felicitous environment to sustain that organism, and we could keep going back, but pretty soon we’ll be all the way back to “God,” and that’s not going to help us, because no one’s come up with a presupposition for that preposterous Megalomaniac in the Sky, that Prickly Prime Mover, that Great Usurper of Creative, Abundant, Unfathomable Nature.
The Laniakea Galactic Supercluster. (“Laniakea” is pronounced LA nee AH KEH ah.) “Lani” means “heaven,” and “akea” means “spacious” or “immeasurable.” The name honors Polynesian navigators who used heavenly knowledge to navigate the Pacific Ocean. Earth’s celestrial address is: Planet Earth, Solar System, Milky Way Galaxy, Local Group, Virgo Supercluster, Laniakea Galactic Supercluster.
It could turn out, in fact, that none of the facts offered in Heinlein’s book — or in any of his library of science-based novels — are true. But that doesn’t mean that the facts Heinlein penned at that time of writing were not, and are not, scientific. Science progresses through time, and it does its best with the evidence found and offered at any specific time in history.
Heinlein’s novel’s science-based science-fiction worlds may be found, over time, by inquisitive humanity to have been based on flawed data and/or skewed hypotheses. And that’s okay. Science is ultimately a precarious, ever-balancing endeavor; conclusions are always being re-balanced with new data. The task given to humanity by the harsh mistress of science, that exacting manager of hapless humanity, our given task — so difficult for the flawed, egotistical, jousting fools that we are but so necessary for the progress of a civilization that wants to call itself enlightened — is to 1) stick to the evidence and continually 2) rework theories based on that evidence. Indeed, 3) premises themselves need continually to be reexamined.
An Artificial Moon
And it turns out that we have a substantial amount of new data showing that the foundational premise of all lunar science is incorrect. The foundational premise of all Western lunar science since the beginning of the modern era is the premise that the moon is a natural object.
Upon examining the new data, which suggests that the moon is both 1) artificial and 2) hollow, science gladly shifts its focus. (This new data dovetails, by the way, with the moon’s creation story in the Zulu culture, a story long considered by Western anthropologists simply to be a myth.) As new compelling data comes to light, everything changes, and science is okay with that. Science eats change for breakfast. Now all data previously gathered must be and will be examined in a new light.

Simulacra of Science: Armies of Indoctrinated and Bribed Researchers
In this article, we have thus far considered 1) science-based science-fiction and 2) the ability of science to cope with changing data and premises. Now let’s move on to another subject, 3) fiction-based “science.”
Scientists who are lied to (all institutionally educated persons) and/or bribed (virtually all salaried researchers, whose very funding is a fish-hook for their actions and their souls), become simulacra of science. . . . You know it’s not Science if she’s not carrying her whip. And if she’s not carrying her whip, guess what she is? That’s right. The bankers’ whore, a simulacrum of science.
Orthodox (Conventional) Medicine vs. Natural Medicine
Question: Who created orthodox (conventional) medicine?
Answer: The Rockefeller family started orthodox medicine in 1900.
Dr. Russell Blaylock: “Who created orthodox medicine? Where did that come from? Well, it actually came from the Rockefeller Foundation back in 1901. Because of the Standard Oil scandals, no one wanted to be called a Rockefeller. Everybody hated all the Rockefellers.

“And so . . . Reverend Gates went to John D. Rockefeller, Sr. and told him, he said, “Here’s a way we can repair your reputation.” And he gave him a good example. He said, “There was this man who everybody hated . . . and he started giving money out for all sorts of philanthropic enterprises, and soon people forgot all of the bad things. . . .” Because Gates’ father was a physician, and John D. Rockefeller’s father was a quack snake-oil salesman, he said, “Let’s form the Rockefeller Institute of Medical Research.” And so they created this in 1901. . . . Rockefeller owned what was called the drug trust: that’s the major drug manufacturing firms all over the world: Merck Pharmaceuticals, Lederle, all of these . . . pharmaceutical companies . . . And of course, the aim was to remove all nutrition, references to nutritional type treatments, from the medical schools.
“They closed down half the medical schools in the United States. There were 165 medical schools at the time. . . . Then [Rockefeller] had his anointed medical schools, which he poured his money into, appointed the professors from his own stock of professors. And so they created an educational system that taught the things that he wanted taught. And therefore every professor that came out of those programs taught the same thing.”
Vaccination “science”/approbation came directly out of Louis Pasteur’s “germ theory of disease.”
Faux scientist Louis Pasteur, a showman and huckster, fraudulently promoted his germ theory of disease, while real scientist Antoine Béchamp proposed, tested, and spectacularly confirmed his “terrain theory of disease.” Guess who won?

How much do doctors learn about vaccines in medical school? You may be surprised to learn that they do virtually no study of this subject at all. Could that be because real science, good science, science untainted by monied interests, has found that vaccines 1) do not prevent disease but in fact 2) do great harm to health?
Rothschild-funded Rockefeller death-medicine — vaccines and most Rockefeller pharmaceuticals — have been responsible for hundreds of millions of deaths, millions of cases of injury, including paralysis, brain damage (resulting in what we call “autism” and more), other injuries, and chronic (life-long) sickness.
Can we afford to allow two families to corrupt good medical science worldwide? If the Rothschilds and Rockefellers are corrupting medical science, what other sciences are they corrupting?
Stewards of Science: Mega-Armies of Persons Dedicated to Discovery
Question: Who are the stewards of science in an age of deception, of financial and other manipulation of scientific research?
Answer: We are. We are responsible, each one of us, for the strength and integrity of science.
Are we really scientists? All of us? We are, if we use our eyes and our brains.
Are our brains too full of institutional indoctrination to operate? We have to filter out that indoctrination, those false teachings. We have to take responsibility to see what’s in front of our eyes.
That’s real science: 1) to observe, 2) to catalogue, and then 3) to share.
Two Kinds of Science of Ancient Archaeology
Evidence is king in all sciences, not least in archaeological science.

Institutional archaeology is desperate to avoid, at all costs, the data that alternative (frontier) archaeology discovers. The archaeological orthodoxy, housed largely in academia, is addicted to secrecy, exclusivity, and the censorship of scientific data, otherwise known as fraud.
The Seven Deadly Sins of the Archaeological Orthodoxy:
1. The Sin of Omission – Consciously omitting key information that might undermine one’s position.
2. The Sin of Self-Projection – Unconsciously projecting one’s flaws (egotism, small-mindedness, laziness) onto the peoples of the past.
3. The Sin of Self-Importance (or the Sin of Hubris) – Believing that a scientific position is true because one holds it.
4. The Sin of Superficiality – Reaching scientific conclusions without properly
engaging available scientific data.
5. The Sin of Distraction (or the Sin of the Red Herring) – Introducing an argument that is irrelevant to the argument at hand.
6. The Sin of Intimidation – Threatening those with whom one disagrees.
7. The Sin of Silence – Avoidance of reasonable discussion.
Orthodox (institutional, academic) archaeology is faux science to its core, and it enjoys its exclusivity, its superficiality, its falsehoods. It relishes its Great Lies, savors them.
Alternative archaeology, on the other hand, seeks simply to remain true to what we might call pristine science, literally a common man’s and common woman’s endeavor. All we need to do is follow the strict dictates of science.
Do alternative archaeologists succeed in this goal of remaining true to pristine science? No. We all fall short in the eyes of the harsh mistress of science. We are merely human.
But science needs a voice, and human beings are her vocal vehicles.
And so, flawed humanity carries on, always in the face of great opposition from orthoxical (deceiving, anti-science, corrupted) powers.
I hope everyone has a pristine science day, out in the field, under the sun, with evidence before you.

The beautiful and important Piri Reis map – the fragment that survives – was created on gazelle skin parchment.
I’m not a math guy, particularly, but I did some basic research on the subject of map projections to investigate the truth about the claims of authenticity of the Piri Reis map. I did two days of research on the subject. This was two days that Robert Milton Schoch was unable or unwilling to spend preparing material for his book “Voices of the Rocks,” in which he (quite oddly) claims that the Piri Reis map is not authentic but, with Wikipedia, instead claims that the lower portion of South America is bent round to fit the parchment. In other words, Dr. Schoch claims that a Turkish admiral, competent to navigate and sail the ancient seas, was too stupid to find a piece of parchment big enough for his map. Let’s continue to do basic research that orthodoxical researchers can’t or won’t do – to get to the basic truths about humanity’s past on Earth.

“You can see the top [of the hill] being so regular [and rounded]. The line is really regular, even though the composition of the hill is this really, really strong, tortured material — seemingly tortured, if it was natural — and yet the top is perfectly smooth. It doesn’t make any sense. If this stuff came into existence by the forces of nature, the hill would not be so smooth [and rounded] at the top.
